Anne CHRYSOTEME |
Photographer |
Born in Paris, Anne Chrysoteme spent her childhood in Alger, and later in Libourne, near Bordeaux, where she studied at the university, and wrote poetry for her friends who dreamt of winning the young singers contest.
She has kept deux passions from these years spent in the South : good wine and plays of light. As early as nine, she tried to grasp reflections and contrasts with the old camera of her dad. She looked for shadow and above all light in their most common or most unusual expressions.
After graduating as a French teacher, she was nominated in Boulogne-sur-Mer, in the North of France. She fell in love with the region and became enthusiastic for its very special lights.
Anne Chrysoteme found a new inspiration in Giverny about ten years ago. She visits Claude Monet's gardens very often and has taken several thousands of pictures of the Waterlillies pond and flower garden.
