| This farm in business (no animal) is located in the countryside amid
wheat, flax and colza fields cultivated by Christophe. It was built in the
19th Century by an engineer of Ferdinand de Lesseps, the creator of the Suez
Canal, and recently renewed. It is a perfect place to stay if you are looking
for a very quiet environment in the countryside.
At 500 m, a beautiful wood crossed by the path GR2 and by a fitness trail offers a pleasant 10 mn walk to the medieval fortress of Chateau-Gaillard. Claire and Christophe know the region inside out, they will be glad to share with you their tips for visits or restaurants. Giverny and Claude Monet 's garden are only 24 km away, Rouen 40 km, and the landing beaches at a 2 hours drive. To take advantage of the peaceful and greeny setting, both rooms are equipped with their own garden table and chairs where you are welcome to picnic. (Fridge at your disposal). Breakfast is served in a dining room located in the main house. Claire loves pleasing her guests by serving home made cakes, croissant and baguette fresh from the baker with several sorts of home made jellies, farm apple juice... Closed car park. 2 bikes at your disposal. English spoken. Deutsch gesprochen. |
